From the parking lot: Walk past the big map in front of the pump track. Then go through the small round tunnel to the left and then left again after the tunnel. Then straight ahead until you reach us.
From the bus stop: Walk west across the road and then straight ahead past the pump track and playground towards the tunnel. Go through the tunnel and continue left after the tunnel, then straight on until you reach us.
The parking is free and is called “Skövde actioncenter” on Google maps and the address is Hagenstugan, Alphyddevägen, 549 48 Skövde. In iPhone maps it has no specific name (no marker) and depending on where exactly you look, the address on that app is either: Hagenstugan, Alphyddevägen, 541 33 Skövde or: Billingeleden, 541 33 Skövde.
If you are traveling by public transport, buses 8 and 9 leave from Skövde Central Station. The nearest bus stop is Billingen, from there it is about a 6-minute walk to Upzone Adventure Park Skövde.
Here you’ll find important information for your visit, such as what to wear and other things to think about before you arrive at the park. We recommend that you arrive 15-20 minutes before the start time so that you can try out harnesses and gloves in peace and quiet before the activity begins.
Should you have any questions or concerns, you can always contact our booking center at boka@upzone.se.
Dress for an active day outdoors in comfortable clothes that you can move freely in. In cooler weather, we recommend layering.
Long hair should be tied back and jewelry should be removed before the activity. New piercings can be taped with sports tape if necessary and we are happy to help on site.
Shoes should fit firmly on the foot and cover the entire foot. Sandals, slippers and open shoes are not allowed. Sneakers or similar shoes with good grip are recommended.
Feel free to leave loose valuables at home or in your car. Cell phones may be used for photos and videos when standing still on a platform, but should otherwise be kept safe.
Gloves with good grip and good finger mobility are mandatory. Ordinary finger gloves are not allowed. Gloves are available for purchase on site for SEK 20.
At Upzone, we use height limits instead of age limits in our Highropecourse. To climb the Highropecourses you need to be at least 125 cm tall. The Courses are adapted for reach, grip and safe handling of the equipment.
We recommend that an adult climbs with children shorter than about 144 cm, so that the child can be supported and helped during the activity.
Mini Adventurer
For younger children, Upzone offers the Mini Adventurer option.
Then up to two children between 110-124 cm can join for free together with a paying adult. The children climb in our Funzone for 3 hours – a lower course where adults can easily help, encourage and climb together with the children.
To participate in our Highropecourses, the following requirements need to be met:
The requirements are in place to create a safe and secure experience when moving high above ground. If you are unsure whether the Highropecourse is suitable for you, you are always welcome to contact us or ask the staff on site.
Important to know:
These requirements only apply to the Highropecourse. Our other activities, such as team challenges and outdoor escape games, have different requirements.
Gloves are used to protect the hands and provide better grip when climbing Highropecourses. To participate, you need gloves with a good grip and good finger mobility. Ordinary finger gloves are not allowed.
If you missed buying gloves when booking, you can buy them on site in the park before the climb begins. If you bring your own gloves, these need to be approved by the staff before the start of the activity.
Around Hålsdammen there are several barbecue areas and seating areas for those who want to gather during the visit. At most barbecue areas there is also firewood to buy directly on site via Swish.
Toilets are available at the parking lot, but without toilet seats. For proper toilets and changing rooms, the Billingecenter is nearby, open Monday-Sunday between 06:00-22:00.
There are several seating areas and benches scattered around the park for those who want to sit down, take a break or gather together before and after the activities during their visit.
Our kiosk offers ice cream, sweets, chips and drinks of various kinds for those who want to buy something good during their visit to the park.
